Katoomba Trading has entered into an enforceable undertaking with the NHVR following a HVNL Mass breach. This breach occurred in Victoria wherein Katoomba permitted driver
sub-contractor to drive a heavy vehicle without ensuring that the vehicle and its load complied with the prescribed mass limit of its steer axle, contrary to section 96(1) of the HVNL.

The Company has undertaken to implement various initiatives under the EU that shall not only benefit the company’s operation but also the wider food and transport industry beyond the compliance of the law to make noticeable positive change in terms of implementation of safety measures and mass management principles.
